Uniform

Growing up in San Jose you would always find me in shorts, flip flops and a t-shirt. I'm always looking for the adult alternative to that uniform. We've all seen the ladies that dress too young for their age. When you're young you look good in basic gear. When you're older you have to put in a bit more work. So, I put on a long t-shirt with flip flops and an over sized sweater. I took the shorts off but I'm still a lady ;)

No White After Labor Day?

Whatever! All the true playas have a pair of white shoes. But seriously tho, white kicks are showing up for more than just Easter. Who made that rule anyway? Probably a hater!

At first I thought...gold bag/gold boots...furry dog/furry hood...might be too much. PLEAZ! Coco is my copilot and if the pimp boots fit, wear 'em!

I copied one of the seasons trends by picking solid colors from my closet. Ladies, sometimes you have to use what you've got to get what you want! Makes for a crisp casual TGIF look.

The Law of Attraction

"Like attracts like" so this is what I said to the universe. "I "like" sitting on the couch and "like" looking cool enough to go out and meet a friend for a drink". So the universe gave me these cool sweat pants and a friend that owns a bar. Nice work universe!
